Scott Badler

Scott Badler was born and raised in Los Angeles and remembers he and other Jack Kennedy supporters hollering “Nix on Nixon!” at Vice-President Richard Nixon’s followers on the school yard on Election Day, 1960. After graduating from San Francisco State University, he moved to Massachusetts where he received a M.Ed. from Cambridge College and taught “Humor Writing” at Harvard. The author of two books of humorous non-fiction, What’s So Funny About Looking for a Job? and Oh, Brother! he has had published numerous essays, comedic articles and short fiction. Johnny and the Muckers is his first novel. He currently lives in the San Francisco Bay Area. One of his favorite drinks is a Rose Kennedy cocktail. You can reach him at www.ScottBadler.net
